Direct booking · Two configurations

A direct booking engine, with no commission fees.

The right path depends on the tools you already use. Already have one? The website links to it. Prefer to handle requests yourself? Guests submit a request that you confirm or decline in guideyourguest.

On a common case, platform commission costs €2,592 a year. Direct from €24/month excl. VAT. Excl. VAT — €288 billed per year

Direct booking

Estimate the impact of direct booking.

For properties that win stays back from platforms, every direct booking avoids their commission. Adjust the assumptions with your own figures: the amount is a reference point, not a promise.

Indicative estimate based on an avoided commission. guideyourguest takes no commission on direct bookings. Already equipped with a booking engine? Your website simply links to it, with nothing to change in your tools.

One entry, two paths

Do not confuse redirect with integration.

The “Book” button stays clear for guests, but what happens next depends on the configuration chosen by the property.

Link to your tool. guideyourguest opens your booking engine or another public booking path. It does not exchange rates, availability or confirmations with that tool.

Request in guideyourguest. Guests submit a stay request. It remains pending until you confirm or decline it.

A channel with no guideyourguest commission. guideyourguest does not take a commission on requests received through your own journey.

Choose the configuration

Two deliberately separate ways of working.

The first keeps your current tool fully in charge. The second organises a direct request, with an explicit decision from the property.

How it works

A Configuration A · You already have a tool

A link to your existing engine

Guests select “Book” and leave guideyourguest to continue in your current solution.

  1. 1No technical integration with guideyourguest
  2. 2Rates and availability managed in your tool
  3. 3Confirmation sent by your tool
Your current workflow remains unchanged
B Configuration B · You process requests

A direct request to confirm

Guests enter their stay details and submit a request. You then confirm or decline it in guideyourguest.

  1. 1Request received in the back office
  2. 2Pending status before your decision
  3. 3Property confirms or declines
No booking is confirmed automatically

In both configurations, the official website remains the entry point and the property defines the choice.

These two paths describe how the product works. The existing-tool mode is a link, not an integration.

Configuration B in detail

A request is not yet a confirmed booking.

The status remains clear for your team and the guest.

Property side

One simple rule: one tool makes the decision.

When you link to an existing engine, it remains responsible for the journey. When you enable guideyourguest requests, your team makes the decision in the back office.

“Link” mode is not PMS synchronisation. “Request” mode requires your team to confirm or decline.

Define the destination. Add your current engine address or enable the guideyourguest request form.

Keep availability current. In request mode, calendars must stay up to date to present consistent information.

Process every request. A request remains pending until the property confirms or declines it.
